3 Easy And Healthy Pregnancy Smoothies

Smoothies are real sweethearts when you do not have time to eat anything and are on the go. I believe smoothies are much healthier than normal fruit juices because smoothies contain the pulp of fruit or vegetables and are very filling so I always have one glass of smoothie in my daily breakfast.

When I was pregnant with my first baby, I used to drink smoothies after returning from my ultrasound baby scan clinic. Smoothies surely made my pregnancy easy and healthier so here are my approved easy and healthy pregnancy smoothies for you to try:

1. Fruity Ginger Smoothie

Ginger is amazing when it comes to treating morning sickness. To make this smoothie, all you need is
- 1½ tbsp of grated ginger
- 1 chopped frozen fruit of your choice (banana, mango, raspberries, blueberries, etc)
- 1 big tbsp of honey (preferably manuka honey)
- healthy seeds ( use chia, flaxseeds, sunflower, or pumpkin seeds)
- 4 cups of Greek yogurt.
Blend these ingredients and pour them into your smoothie glass, and forget about morning sickness!



2. Nourishing Nut Smoothie

Nuts are your best friends in pregnancy, so why not make a wholesome smoothie with healthy nuts. Add the following ingredients in your blender:
- Half cup of soaked and peeled almonds
- Half cup cashews
- 5 chopped walnuts
- 2 apricots ( soaked and without seed)
- 4 pitted dates
- 1 cup of coconut milk
- half tsp of honey (optional)
- 1 pinch of cardamom powder.
Blend, and go nutty with this smoothie!


3. Nutritious Green Smoothie

Go green this pregnancy! Have this health-giving green smoothie and enjoy your pregnancy glow. You can make this smoothie by blending these amazing nutrient-rich ingredients:
- 2 cups of chopped spinach
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1 apple or pear
- 1 banana cut into pieces
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 peeled cucumber
- 1 scooped out avocado
- 1 cup Milk (preferably coconut, almond, or cashew milk)
- 1 tsp of chia or flaxseeds.
