Healthy And Tasty Snack Options For Women During Pregnancy


A big hello to all charming expecting mothers residing in Peterborough! During pregnancy, women often get hungry as two people need to be fed. That’s the reason, you should always stock up with healthy snacks wherever you go, be it your office, doctor’s clinic, ultrasound baby scan clinic, and even pregnancy club! Let me tell you a story before I begin the blog. When I went to get 4D scan from a 4D baby scan clinic in Peterborough, I started feeling hungry but was told to drink more water to keep a full bladder. When the session got over, I finally ate from my designated “snack bag”, yes, a bag where I keep all my snacks in one place. So, I hope you understand how important it is to be well-stocked with nutritious assortment of snacks because hunger does not ring the bell before making its grand entrance!

Always eat hard-boiled eggs because that’s safer compared to soft-boiled ones, as they might carry salmonella bacteria. You can even add your favourite seasonings, like ground black pepper, salt, chili powder, and garlic powder to the eggs and give it a toss for that tastiest morsel!

2. Trail Mix: 



When we are hungry, we binge-eat without considering the nutritional content of the food item. Not anymore, as trail mix is at your service to provide you with a healthy and tasty snack experience! So, keep an assortment of trail mix always inside your backpack!

3. Smoothies:

4. Tea Sandwiches: 



Yes, English tea sandwiches, the best snack option for pregnant mothers in the UK. You can make your tea or finger sandwiches healthy by adding healthy elements, like avocados, salmon, fresh veggies, eggs, chicken, beef, and pork.

5. English Crumpets: 



Crumpets are one of my favourite snack option to binge on. They are healthy because I use whole wheat to make crumpets and top them off with peanut butter, fruits, and raisins! Such a delicious treat!
